How my new knowledge of conditioning has affected my teaching

Since I now understand the concept of conditioning I can better understand some of students seemingly unfounded reactions. I have a particular student who always gets extremely offended at the slightest challenge. and his response is always the same. " dem ah try bwoy bwoy me up"  He always seems just on the threshold of anger and he also tends to hand a negative reaction to touch. I definitely see it as operant conditioning to perhaps some physical and defintiely mental abuse.  I'm going to recommend counseling. I know he is reluctant but the behaviour seems to be getting worse.

My favourite teachers have varied. I remember my favourite kindergarten teacher Miss Jackie Bascombe , she was fun. I don’t remember what particularly about her made me like her so much but I remember  her smiling alot and doing lots of fun activities in class . I was five so i don’t remember observing an particular traits other than how she made me feel. I also had another kindergarten teacher names Miss Shepherd and my favourite thing about her was that she always looked very pretty and smelled nice in class. I admired her and thought that it how I want to look like one day. My favourite subject was English so two of my favorite English teachers were Ms. Dwyer and Ms Spencer. Both of them made English feel so very fun. I always felt like my opinion was valued and they made the literature books come alive. I think their excitement about the subject was contagious so I caught it as well.
